Six hard lessons on why Christian Business Owners and Leaders need peer groups.
1. We have an amazing ability to justify ourselves. It is ALWAYS someone else's fault.
2. Wisdom spares us from suffering, and we should avoid suffering as much as possible.
3. Other people show us different aspects of our leadership, businesses, ourselves, and God, which can be uncomfortable but highly valuable.
4. We need to confess our failings to people. If not, we tend carry them into our relationships with others - co-workers, customers, vendors, even family.
5. We cannot do any of the scriptural “one-anothers” by ourselves. We need others. It is hard to do "one-another" with yourself.
6. Other people need you. You have wisdom and experience that is unique. If you aren't sharing it, you are actually hurting others.
Some things to consider and ponder.
